Marketing can be confusing.  Advertising is critical for your residential service business, but most contractors struggle with the math.  And this isn’t for a lack of intelligence.  I actually think it is caused by the marketing industry.  PART 1:  HOW TO DETERMINE YOUR NEEDED CALL VOLUME.

The marketing industry tends to over complicate things.   Maybe this is on purpose, or perhaps there is just too much lost in translation.  My goal in this 2 part video series is create some clarity.

In Part 1, I showed you HOW TO DETERMINE YOUR NEEDED CALL VOLUME.

In Part 2, you are going to learn HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR MARKETING COSTS.

At the end of this 2 part series, I hope you will be able to do the following:

  • Determine your needed inbound calls for HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical Service.
  • Calculate your CSR closing percentage on your air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical repair and replacement requests.
  • Calculate your cost of sales for marketing from each of your call sources.
  • Use this information to make adjustments in your business to increase or decrease marketing in the appropriate areas.
