Loudermilk thinks mindset is the most important thing to get right. He always has a positive mindset and it shows. You need to believe you can succeed. You need to believe that you are essential. You need to believe that you are valuable. The quote from Henry Ford, “If you believe you can or believe you can’t, you’re probably right” sums up mindset.
Loudermilk believes that evaluation is the most important part of the sales or service call. No one seems to take enough time asking questions and learning about the customer. Those techs or salespeople that realize the call should be more about the person than the thing are the ones that succeed.
I think all of the listeners to the podcast know that Loudermilk likes to have fun. He loves to meet new people and learn new things when meeting people. You should approach every call as an opportunity to meet someone new and learn something new. This will contribute to a positive mindset.
