What is the difference between managers versus leaders?

The focus of the manager is on the system and procedure.

  •  find what works
  •  repeat, repeat, repeat

The focus of the leader is on creating positive change.

  •  discover why it’s not working
  •  envision the future
  •  implement positive change

It takes both managers and leaders to have a successful company.   The problem arises when the leader is not giving vision to the manager.
